Victorian Tea with the Latah County Historical Society
The Latah County Historical Society invites you to celebrate spring with a Victorian Tea on Sunday, April 28th at the historic McConnell Mansion. Artisan teas will be served from 2 to 4 p.m. while you enjoy a variety of sweet and savory treats. You might even pick up a few old-fashioned etiquette tips. Apple juice will be available for younger attendees. Guests are welcome to dress for the occasion. The McConnell Mansion provides the perfect setting for celebrating upcoming graduations or treating someone special to an early Mother’s Day tea. Reservations are available for $25 per guest, or $80 for a table of four. We are able to accommodate larger parties upon request.
Tickets are available for purchase at latahcountyhistoricalsociety.org, or at the Centennial Annex from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, at 327 East Second Street. Space is limited, and tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, April 23rd. Seating will be arranged throughout the mansion, please be sure to let staff know if you would prefer to be seated on the ground level.
All proceeds from this fundraiser support LCHS programing and the preservation of the McConnell Mansion, a home included in the National Register of Historic Places. LCHS exists to preserve the heritage of Latah County, and put it to use for the benefit of our citizens and communities. We accomplish these ends with exhibits, educational programs, research facilities, public events, community collaborations, and publications.
