Sonos has amazed audiences around the world with their breathtaking musical performances using 68 chromatically tuned bells. Each bell plays a single note, allowing the ensemble to cover more than five octaves by ringing, slamming, plucking, malleting, shaking, damping, and bouncing bells individually.
The ethereal resonance of the handbells combined with the visually compelling nature of the performance make Sonos Handbell Ensemble concerts unforgettable.
In this special holiday show, Sonos will perform beloved favorites like Tchaikovsky's “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy” and the classic “Sleigh Ride.”
Reserved seating costs $18 adults, $15 seniors (ages 60 and up) and $9 non-WSU students and youth. WSU student admission is free with valid ID. A discounted rate of $14 per person is available to groups of eight or more.

Since its founding in 1990, Berkeley’s Sonos Handbell Ensemble has delighted audiences of all ages with national, Asian and European tours and performances at major world events, including the World Ice Skating Championships and the United Nations 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
Appearances on major television and radio broadcasts have introduced handbell virtuosity to millions of people around the world. Following an appearance by Sonos on National Public Radio’s “A Prairie Home Companion,” host Garrison Keillor said, “Their music stunned us all. The 4,000 audience members went wild, just as we knew they would.”
The ensemble has recorded six CDs, including two Christmas albums, “Christmas with Sonos” and “A Very Classical Christmas.”
Sonos Handbell Ensemble is presented by WSU Performing Arts with generous support from the Residence Inn by Marriott Pullman and the Courtyard by Marriott Pullman.
