Palouse Choral Society Celebrates 20 Years
October 14, 2019 –The Palouse Choral Society celebrates its 20th Anniversary season with a concert of music selected by the five conductors who have directed the choir. The concert, titled Thanks for the Memories, will be performed Saturday, October 26, at 6 pm, and Sunday, October 27, at 4 pm, both at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Uniontown.
Each of the conductors who have led the chorale were asked to choose a few of the favorite pieces they had programmed. Two of the previous musical directors, Chuck Nuefeld and John Weiss, will return to the Palouse to conduct the choir along with current musical director Paul Thompson and chorale member Alisa Toy. The concerts will include a wide variety of repertoire, mainly from the 20th century, featuring both the chorale and chamber choir.
Tickets for the performances are $20 for adults and $8 for students. Children 12 and under are free. Season tickets as well as blocks of four tickets for any one concert are $60. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.palousechoralsociety.org or at the door.
