MOSCOW (January, 2019) — The Moscow Food Co-op is currently accepting applications for the three open Board of Directors seats, with an application deadline of January 31, 2019.
“The Board of Directors comes together to represent owners and the best interest of owners, so we need good, committed people at the table making decisions,” said Carol McFarland, Vice President of the Board. “Community-focused service like running for the Co-op Board can help you focus yourself outward while also doing good for other people.”
The Board guides the general direction of the Co-op, and helps the Co-op succeed as a business. There are nine members on the Board of Directors, with an interior structure including a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
