• LATAH COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO AWARD OVER $30,000 IN 2019

    There is still time to apply for the Latah County Community Foundation’s spring grant cycle.
     
    Moscow, ID—April 10, 2019– The Latah County Community Foundation (LCCF) will be accepting grant applications from Latah County nonprofits until April 22, 2019.
     
    LCCF is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Latah County— through the accumulation, management, and disbursement of charitable donations of programs or projects associated with education, human services, environment, health youth services, civic improvement, the arts, and various other charitable interests.
     
    Applicants must be a public charity with current, active tax-exempt status, including school districts and municipalities, or be a public entity. Applicants may apply for up to $3,000 each cycle. The deadline for the fall cycle will be October 18.
     
    Previous grant recipients include Backyard Harvest, Festival Dance, Moscow High School Bear Buddies, Troy Arts Council, Genesee Community Library , Potlatch Historical Society, and Deary Community Food Bank. Organizations have used funds to buy new shelves for their library, make repairs to buildings, provide education to Latah County students, and create marketing materials for their organization.
