Humane Society of the Palouse Business After Hours
The Moscow Chamber of Commerce presents the Humane Society of the Palouse Business After Hours! Head to the Moscow Chamber of Commerce (411 South Main Street, Moscow, Idaho) on Thursday, February 21st from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
The Humane Society of the Palouse is a no-kill animal shelter located in Moscow ID, founded in 1978. Their mission is to ensure the humane treatment, welfare and safety of companion animals in Moscow and Latah County. They strive to prevent cruelty to animals, to ensure animals are adopted by responsible and caring owners, to promote spaying/neutering, to educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership, and to minimize euthanasia.
The HSOP is administered by an elected volunteer Board of Directors. These are citizens of the Palouse who are interested in animal protection, adoption and education. These working Directors donate time and experience to direct and help fund the shelter.
At the Business After Hours they will be raising awareness about their programs and will be available to answer any questions. Their programs include: volunteer opportunities, Spay and Neuter Assistance Program SNAP, Micro Chipping Services, Pet Food Pantry, Foster Program, Merlin Fund and a favorite –adoption!
This networking event provides an opportunity for members to educate the general public about their industry as well as a great way to meet other Chamber members and community members in a more casual after work atmosphere. Reach out to the Moscow Chamber of Commerce if your business is interested in learning more about Business After Hours.
