City of Moscow is Seeking Community Input for Playground Replacement
The City of Moscow is in the process of selecting new playground equipment for the Jim Lyle Rotary Park, located on the northwest corner of the intersection of East F St. and Orchard Ave. The project will replace the existing wooden playground structure.
The proposed designs will be on display at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center (HIRC), located at 1724 East F St., during two public forum events. During the public forum events, City staff and the Rotary Club of Moscow will present an overview of the playground design proposals. Voting via paper ballots will be available at the two public forum events and online.
The first public forum will be held from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday, January 27, in the multipurpose room of the HIRC.
The second public forum will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am, Saturday, February 1, in the multipurpose room of the HIRC.
You can also vote online, January 15 through February 14, ending at 3:00pm at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MPFJ6PV.
Results of the public voting will be tallied for consideration by the Rotary Club of Moscow, followed by consideration of results by the Parks and Recreation Commission on February 27. The Parks and Recreation Commission will then recommend a final proposal to City Council for their consideration later in March.
