    Job Description
    The City of Moscow is seeking applicants who possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to fill the position of Community Events Programs Coordinator.
    The Programs Coordinator will perform special events duties. These duties may include the assistance of on-site event preparation, opening and closing of the Moscow Farmers Market, coordinating episodic and recurring programs associated with events, overseeing volunteers, and maintaining special events equipment and inventory in the Community Events Division.
    Successful candidates will need a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by course work and/or training in programs or events coordination or related field.  One (1) year of experience in a similar position is preferred.
    The Programs Coordinator will assist with overseeing operations of the Moscow Farmers Market on Saturdays from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm April through October.  Remaining hours are flexible from Tuesday through Friday.  Pay will be $13.00 per hour for 40 hours a week.
    A criminal background check will be required as a condition of employment.
