BookPeople of Moscow welcomes author Dennis Dauble Blew of Moscow, Idaho from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.., Saturday, September 14. Dauble will be in front of the store with his newest novel “Bury Me with My Flyrod: The Unvarnished Truth About Fly Fishing” during the Farmers Market. Books will be available for sale and signing.
Dennis Dauble is a retired fisheries scientist, outdoor writer, and author of the award-winning natural history guidebook, “Fishes of the Columbia Basin,” and three collections of short stories. His essays and articles have been published in American Angling, Fly Fisherman, Northwest Fly Fishing, Game & Fish, and other regional magazines and newspapers. His latest book, “Bury Me With My Fly Rod,” is about the fly fishing experience. With this new title, Dauble leads readers through a “spoke of the wheel” tour of northeastern Oregon trout streams, battles the “Mike Tyson” of Couse Creek, hikes into Spirit Mountain, and soaks flies near his cabin in the Umatilla River canyon.
