Share an afternoon with family, friends, and neighbors while catching up over a hearty lunch filled with the flavors of the Palouse. Please join us on Sunday, November 10 between 11:00am and 2:00pm for bottomless bowls of satisfying soups and stews, along with salad, rolls and of course homemade desserts. Local ingredients will be sourced wherever possible, making the meal a true celebration of our region’s productivity. Dinner will be served at the 1912 Center, perhaps better known as the old Moscow High School, located at 412 E. Third Street. Guests may dine in the Great Room and enjoy the musical stylings of local pianist Cecily Groves, or find seating in the Arts Workshop near the no-host bar serving craft beers and wine. You won’t want to miss this year’s silent auction either. Attendees will have the chance to bid on wonderful antiques, repurposed treasures, delectable food items, and gifts produced in our region. There are sure to be opportunities to bid on one-of-a-kind pieces for you or a loved one on your holiday shopping list. The Harvest Dinner is our largest fundraising event of the year, providing significant support for the historical preservation, research, and most importantly educational activities of the Latah County Historical Society. Tickets are available at the historical society office (327 E. Second St.), on the LCHS website (https://www.latahcountyhistoricalsociety.org/events), or at the door on the day of the event. If you cannot attend, you might consider buying one or more tickets for a friend. If you are interested in donating tickets, the Historical Society distributes all donated tickets through our local food banks. For more information or if you are interested in helping with the dinner or donating to the Silent Auction, please call 208-882-1004 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for helping to make this year’s dinner a success.
