The next Let’s Cook class at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is falafel using local chickpeas.
Falafel is a deep-fried ball, doughnut or patty made from ground chickpeas, fava beans, or both. Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern food. This is some very good, flavorful eating - if you have it once, you’ll want it again. Who would have guessed chickpeas could be so good? Time to make hummus, tahini and kachoombar and maybe a little tzatziki to go with along with it!
Class is 1 ½ hours to 2 hours depending on questions and clean up.
