What was your favorite thing about Moscow in the 1950s and 1960s? Maybe it was shopping at Davids' Department Store? Or perhaps it was sipping on a milkshake at Tip Top Cafe? How about taking in a picture at the Varsity Drive-In Theatre on the Moscow-Pullman Highway? Whether you grew up here or you simply appreciate the charm of a bygone era, the David Family invites you to celebrate Moscow's history with a fun and casual dinner on Saturday, May 18 at 6:00pm. Guests will be treated to a retro-inspired menu of gourmet burgers and sides. Explore the Latah County Historical Society's historic photo collection while sipping on craft beers and wines. Learn more about the Society's ongoing work of preserving local history and how modern technology is making those records accessible from anywhere.
This special event, hosted in Moscow's historic 1912 Center, is a benefit for LCHS. Seats are $40 per person, and may be reserved at latahcountyhistoricalsociety.org, or at the Centennial Annex, 327 E. Second St. in Moscow (open Tuesday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm).
