  • Our Chamber Board of Directors and its sub-committees are organized to provide direction, action and resources in their assigned areas. 

    Sub-committees report to the Board of Directors.

  • Tourism and Marketing:  The mission of the Moscow Tourism Committee, the tourism marketing division of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, is to bring more visitors to the Moscow area; to encourage repeat visits; to extend the stays of visitors; and encourage organizations to host their events/conferences in our community.  While working in conjunction with the University of Idaho and the Regional Tourism Marketing entities, economic development for our members through tourism is the goal.

    Projects: This committee works on developing yearly promotional materials and activities including: Visitor’s Guide, Advertising Campaigns, Brochures, Excursion Tours, and workshops.

    Government Affairs:  This is the Chamber’s civic and legislative group.  The committee reviews local, state, and national policy affecting our membership.  Activities for the committee include planning the annual Legislative Tour, Candidates Forum, and other events and programs where the organization needs to examine or monitor an issue which may impact membership.  The committee also maintains a regular presence at appropriate City of Moscow or Latah County meetings.
